We have been bursting with pride to see one of our students on the screen as she appears as a Newcomer in the amazing 4 part Netflix mini series ADOLESCENCE. It is the show that has had everyone talking and has even described by The Guardian as ‘The closest thing to TV perfection in decades’.
Our wonderful student Elodie Grace Walker spent last summer 2024 on set filming for the new Netflix mini series, working alongside a fabulous cast including Stephen Graham, Ashley Walters, Faye Marsey, Erin Doherty, Jo Hartley and newbie Owen Cooper to name but a few. The mini series became no. 1 on Netflix within 24 hours of its release and has made UK television history. The reviews have been outstanding and the reaction to the series have been incredible.
Elodie plays the role of Georgie in episode 2 of this arresting, emotional mini series.
Each episode was filmed entirely in one shot with no cuts for the camera. All of the cast relied on each other to be absolutely on point to keep everything flowing. It is an absolute masterpiece and a must see for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet, we have watched it several times plus a few more!
